Forever Free Elephant Sanctuary was created to give elephants a second chance at life, and a place they can finally call home.
We rescue, rehabilitate, and provide lifelong care and forever homes for elephants who have suffered from exploitation in tourism, riding camps, circuses, the logging industry, and other forms of captivity.
Our mission is simple: to give these gentle giants the safety, compassion, freedom, and dignity they deserve. At Forever Free, rescued elephants will have the opportunity to heal, live peacefully, and simply be elephants—free from exploitation and surrounded by lifelong care.
Forever Free Elephant Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Every donation helps support the rescue, rehabilitation, care, and lifelong protection of elephants in need. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law, and donors will receive a receipt for their contribution.
Together, we can give elephants something they deserve but too often have never known: a safe, loving place to live freely for the rest of their lives.

The Beginning
How Forever Free Began
My journey toward creating Forever Free Elephant Sanctuary began in 2013, during my very first trip to Thailand.
I traveled to Chiang Mai with a friend, and one of the experiences we decided to have was visiting an elephant riding camp. At the time, I was completely unaware of the reality behind elephant tourism. I knew nothing about the treatment of elephants, and I had no idea that riding them could be harmful or inhumane...
Why It Matters
They Deserve Better
Elephants are intelligent, social and emotional animals. Yet many have spent their lives carrying tourists, performing, working, or living in conditions that do not respect their physical and emotional needs.
They deserve space to roam.
They deserve companionship.
They deserve proper care.
They deserve to live without fear.
They deserved to be free.
The Vision
A Sanctuary Built With Purpose
Forever Free Elephant Sanctuary is being built from the ground up. Our goal is to create a safe, ethical environment where rescued elephants can live with space, stability, companionship, and compassionate care.
We are researching land in Thailand, learning from ethical sanctuary models, working with local communities, and developing the foundation needed to make this vision a reality.
This is more than building a place for elephants. It is about building them a home.
